September 11, 2015

8/24/15:

William J. Owen, 21, of 46 Old Middletown Ave., East Hampton was issued a ticket after a brief investigation into a motor vehicle accident that had occurred on West High St., (Rte. 66), near 9 West High for Failure to keep a safe distance apart. During the same incident Owen was issued a summons for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance and was scheduled to appear on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. to answer to the aforementioned charge.

9/4/15:

Stephen Pierson, 50, of 19 Karen Dr., Portland was taken into custody pursuant to an active warrant for his arrest stemming from a July 25, 2015 incident. Pierson was charged with Reckless Driving, Failure to Stop When Signaled, Interfering/Resisting Arrest, Traveling Unreasonably Fast, Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree and Criminal Attempt of Assault on a Police Officer. Pierson was unable to post the $150,000.00 court set bond and was held until his arraignment on Tuesday, September 08, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. to answer to the aforementioned charges.

9/5/15:

Heather Joyce Haouchine, 39, of 111Dudley Town Rd., Windsor was issued a ticket for Operating a Motor Vehicle With an Overcrowded Front Seat.

9/6/15:

Colleen Pollard, 33, of 73 Main St., East Hampton was issued a summons for Misuse of a Registration Plate and Operating an Unregistered and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Pollard is scheduled to appear before the Middletown Superior Court on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. to answer to the aforementioned charges

9/10/15:

Chester Jasenski, 83, of 46 Chestnut Hill Rd., East Hampton turned himself in pursuant to an active warrant for his arrest stemming from a September 2, 2015 incident. Jasenski was charged with Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree, Criminal Attempt to Assault a Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct, Threatening in the 2nd Degree, Interfering/Resisting Arrest and Misuse of the Emergency 911 System. Jasenski was unable to post a court set 100,000 bond and was held until his appearance before the Middletown Superior Court on the same day at 9:00 a.m. to answer to the aforementioned charges.



Gina Lombardo is currently studying Broadcast Cinema and Digital Media at Middlesex Community college. She holds a BA in Communications and a post bachelor’s teaching certificate in English (secondary ed) with a concentration in Creative Writing. In college, she was a contributing writer for The Informer, University of Hartford’s college newspaper, as well as their business and advertising manager. In her spare time, Gina enjoys dancing, singing, performing and photography, watching her son perform, and spending time with her wonderful little Maltese. She is an animal advocate who regularly signs petitions for Peta; she especially has a fondness for elephants and stands up for their rights as well as speaking up against circuses on social media sites. Gina believes in the Law of Attraction and the ability to manifest your desires. Her favorite speakers/ authors include Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Jack Canfield and Leo Buscaglia. In addition to listening and practicing the tenants of the law of attraction, she listens to comics every day because laughter truly is the best medicine. Ms. Lombardo currently resides by the beach which inspires her every day to be creative, kind, loving, imaginative and in harmony with nature.
